At 42 Abu Dhabi, students learn through collaboration, problem-solving and a game-based curriculum, without teachers. The campus experience needed to reflect that spirit of learning by doing.
In partnership with MET Studio Design,Hypsos and Haute Technique, we created a life-size interactive Ghaf tree and a digital cube. The tree, a symbol of the UAE’s heritage, changes in real time as students interact with it. The cube sits at the centre of a digital garden that explores the possibilities of coding.
WT’s work covered the concept, storytelling, digital interaction and hardware integration, through to installation and support. The installations make participation part of the campus itself.
